The Smith Cup and Plate Finals took place at Elstow TTC on Monday 24th April. The Smith Cup was won for the first time by the fast improving young Revolution E team who defeated Southill C by 75 points. 16 year old Joe Peckham, for Revolution, caused the most damage and got the team off to a good start beating John Le Warne 7, 4, 1 and 9. Southill C were giving away 42 points to Revolution so needed a good result from their second match between the experienced Chris Hart and Revolution's 11 year old Harrison Emery. However, Emery was to show an increasing maturity as he won 6, 10, -8 and 7 to increase Revolution's lead. Steve King, for Southill, managed to win back 12 points against Revolution's Alex Gubler winning 6, -9, 3 and 10 but the damage had been done and by the eighth game the Smith Cup was secured for Revolution E.

Rebekah Barry then put any chance of victory for Revolution out of the window by increasing the lead by another 11 points losing to Silk -4, -3, -5, -7. Alsop pulled back another point from Hart winning 1, 2, 3, 1 but it was all over by the seventh game as Barry played some great attacking shots against Baldock to lose -7, -2, -4, -4.
